ABOUT THE ARTIST
Danielle graduated with a Degree in Interdisciplinary Design, almost 16 years ago and she has been creating various bespoke artworks for residential and commercial spaces ever since.
During her career working within the Interior Design and Construction Industry, she has always believed that when creating a space it is always brought to life when the artwork is put in place.
INSPIRATION
“I have created artworks over the years using various mediums but most recently I have been inspired to create muted colour palettes as I feel it provides a calming, mysterious and luxurious atmosphere to a room. I love to play with texture and use different surfaces to create pieces”
Inspired by Japanese Art and their slow movement culture where you are encouraged to slow down life’s pace. I apply this ethos when creating my art, by slowly building up layers to create unique compositions.
Through this practice, I want to let people get lost in the brush strokes and ask their own questions allowing each painting to be perceived differently by every viewer.
In todays fast paced world, we all need to take the time to slow down.
